It's the first time I'm reading this. It's a bit annoying that Sesshoumaru calls Kagome "girl" all the time since he perfectly knows her name is Kagome, and he calls her by her name in the series.

He probably calls her that since he has no direct connection
to her and since they're not exactly close. Just like he would call Sango "demonslayer" or Miroku "Monk" but he would probably
say her actual name more since Rin started living in the
village and just because everyone tolerates each other more.
